JUNE-JULY 2008 NEWS & EVENTSDear Friends and Patrons, I recently moved my studio to 915 Spring Garden Street, in the old Reading Building that has housed roughly 60 artists' studios for over 25 years. Studio visits are available by appointment. The Open Studio Tours Event will take place there in October.

I will be displaying my Philadelphia Views there, and, weather permitting, working on a large canvas. Information: americasbirthday.comTWO PENN CENTER DISPLAYsI am no longer painting in Two Penn Center (15th and JFK Blvd.). However, two large paintings of mine were purchased by the owner of the building, and are on display there in the lobby. These are my full-sized copy of "The Gross Clinic" and a recently commissioned painting of "LOVE Park and Two Penn Center". I maintained an exhibit of my work, as well as that of roughly two dozen other local artists, in this space for about four years. The exhibit led to the sale of about 25 paintings, and afforded many "emerging artists" a good opportunity to display and sell their work, commission-free, in a high-traffic public venue. I also painted periodically in the lobby, and met dozens of interesting people. It was a great run, thanks to all who supported it!
